chose Inverter configuration,  not only  determined by technical

indexes of the photovoltaic power generation system and  sample 

manuals provided by the manufacturer, we also should consider the

following four technical indicators:

1、output rating
The rated output power is means that the ability of PV inverter power

to the load capacity. The rated output power of high PV inverters can

bring more electricity load. When choose photovoltaic inverter you

should consider whether it have enough rated power at first, in order

to meet the maximum load of the requirement of electric equipment,

and system of expansion and some temporary load of access.  When

electrical equipment is to living a purely resistive load or power

factor greater than 0.9, generally selected PV inverter rated output

power more than 10% `15% to  total power of electrical equipment.

2、Performance tuning of the output voltage
Performance tuning of the output voltage means PV inverter output

voltage regulator capacity. General PV inverters products are given

when the DC input voltage to allow changes in the fluctuation range,

the percentage of deviation of the PV inverter output voltage 

fluctuations, often referred to as voltage regulation. High-

performance photovoltaic inverter should be given when the load from

zero to 100 percent change of the PVinverter output voltage

deviation percentage, usually referred to as load regulation. The

excellent performance of the PV inverter voltage regulation should be

less than or equal to ± 3%, load regulation is less than or equal to

± 6%.

3、Efficiency of the unit
Overall efficiency means the size of the PV inverter own power loss,

The larger capacity of the PV inverter efficiency value is also given

under full-load and low load. General below KW rank inverter

efficiency should be more than 85%, 10KW-level efficiency should more

than 90%, higher power efficiency should more than 95%. Inverter

efficiency level of photovoltaic power generation system have

important influence to improve power generation and reduce the cost

of power generation, so when you chose the PV inverter products you

should try to carry out comparison to select the high efficiency

products.
4、Start-up performance
PV inverters should ensure reliable start under the rated load. High

-performance photovoltaic inverter can be done repeatedly at full

load start without damage the power switching devices and other

circuit. Small inverter for their own safety, and sometimes the soft

-start or current limit start measures or circuit.

These four parameters are not only the main basis of the PV inverter

designing and choosing, but also the important index  
to evaluate the photovoltaic inverter technology performance
